Celcius

Celcius is one of my favourite griffin characters.

TL;DR follows...

In my story there are three races of Griffins:
- the White Griffins (most of the time brown but whatever), quite gentle and peaceful.
- the Grey Griffins (all either grey or black this time), much more aggressive. They have two long fangs and are often at war with the White.

- the ancient race of the Makaars (a name introduced by Mercedes Lackey in her trilogy "the Mage War" and which I borrowed cause I liked it!) also called Vampire Griffins, which degraded as centuries passed and whose sole aim seems to kill anything that comes at claws range. White and Grey would probably unite if attacked by those.

Celcius was an unusual Makaar who appeared to have a concience and who pleaded to the Griffin Gods to be made into a White Griffin. Those humorous spirits turned him into a Grey instead, which in times of War came out to be a harsh kind of test...

Btw: the design for Makaar Celcius was inspired by a picture I found on Elfwood years ago and which I can't find now... so whoever you were dear artist, that design was awesome!
